Our Youth Ministries is a place where students in grades 7-12 can come to learn about the Christian faith, develop and strengthen that faith, learn how to become loving, learning, and active followers of Jesus, hang out, and have fun. We strive to provide a solid Biblical foundation upon which our youth can grow into devoted men and women of God.

Overview

We have an exciting and growing youth ministry program with many arms that contain something for everyone. Our goal in everything we do – be it our Sunday morning worship service (Fusion), our Sunday evening youth group gathering (Elevation), our summer mission trips, our fall and winter retreats, our Confirmation program, and the other things in which we participate throughout the year – is to lead our youth, and anyone who walks through our doors into a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Fusion-Join us every Sunday @ 9 am

Youth Worship Service

Fusion is a Youth Worship Service in a coffee shop atmosphere, and is for all students in grades 7-12. We meet each Sunday from 9:00-9:45 am, with the exception of Communion Sundays (the first Sunday of each month). We start off in the Sanctuary to join the 9:00 am service for worship. Students may sit together in a group, or with their families. After a few songs, there will be an announcement for students to leave for Fusion, and then we go to upper room in the Worship & Youth Center for a collaborative hands-on learning experience. This format will change in the future when we have students interested in playing instruments and leading worship in Fusion.

Plus, we always have hot chocolate, coffee, and donuts!!!

Elevation-Join us Sunday evenings!

Youth Group

Elevation usually meets on Sundays from 6:00-8 pm in the Worship & Youth Center and is for all students in grades 7-12.

Elevation is our weekly youth group gathering. On any given Sunday, we meet to hear what God has to say to us, wrestle through issues of life and faith, play games, hang out, eat food, watch our always hilarious Stupid Video of the Week, and build friendships with peers and our amazing adult leadership team.

Mission Trip

Our youth go on a mission trip each summer. The purpose of these trips is to share God’s love through our words and actions and to make a difference in peoples’ lives. On these trips, our students have the opportunity to work at a variety of service sites, some of which are: visiting nursing homes, working in soup kitchens and clothing ministries, running sports camps, doing yard work and landscaping for senior citizens, painting fences, building walls, roofing, building sheds, building staircases, building wheelchair ramps, etc. The summer mission trip is for students who will be entering 7^thgrade after the trip is completed (i.e., the trip takes place in the summer between their 6^th and 7^th grade years) all the way through to those who will be going into their first year of college after the trip is completed (i.e., they may go on the trip the summer after they have graduated from High School).

If you have never before been on a mission trip, you are missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime. You will walk away from it changed and ready to make a difference in your own community.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for adult volunteers to help out with our student ministries.

Some specific roles we need throughout the year are as follows:

Retreat leader/chaperone

Mission trip leader/chaperone

Drivers for various events (e.g., Road Rally, trampoline park trip, retreats, mission trip)
