Our Student Ministries is a place where students in grades 7-12 can come to hang out, have fun, learn about the Christian faith, develop and strengthen that faith, and learn how to become living, loving, learning, and active followers of Jesus. We (Pastor Paul and the leadership team) strive to provide a solid biblical foundation upon which our students can grow into devoted men and women of God.

We have an exciting and growing student ministry program with many arms that contain something for everyone. Our goal in everything we do – be it our Sunday morning worship service (Fusion), our Sunday evening youth group gathering (Elevation), our summer mission trips, our fall and winter retreats, our Confirmation program, and the other things in which we participate throughout the year – is to lead our students, and anyone who walks through our doors into a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Paul Georgulis,
Pastor of Student Ministries

Youth Worship Service

Fusion meets on Sundays, 9:45 am, Worship & Youth Center
Join us for Kick off on September 8!
Fusion, led by our student worship team, offers challenging and relevant message from God’s Word by one of Pastors–along with free food, hot chocolate, and coffee!  We strive to provide an atmosphere that will encourage students’ walk with Christ.
Come see what a live, student-led worship band, free coffee and donuts, and lively discussion can do to help you get out of bed on Sunday mornings.

Youth Group

Elevation meets Sundays, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Worship & Youth Center
On any given Elevation night, you will get to experience live worship, multi-media elements including skits, videos, music, biblical teaching that is relevant to the issues that students face in today’s culture, crazy games, small group time, food, and our always hilarious Stupid Video of the Week.

Mission Trips

Each summer, our students and adult leaders embark on a mission trip. We have been to Canada, West Virginia,  Massachusetts, Pittsburgh, PA, Maine, Ohio, Virginia, Vermont, Niagara Falls, NY, the Adirondack Mountains (NY), Altoona, PA, Raleigh, NC, and many other locations. If you have never before been on a mission trip, you are missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime. You will walk away from it changed and ready to make a difference in your own community.
Consider making a difference in peoples’ lives and join us on our 2019 mission trip back to Pittsburgh, PA (July 7-12th).
Contact Pastor Paul for more details.

Each year, our student ministries go on three retreats. Our first retreat takes place in the Fall and is usually to Ocean City, NJ, where we rent out an entire youth center. Our second and third retreats are our winter retreats. Our middle school students have their winter retreat at Northbay Adventure Camp in North East, Maryland. Our high school students have their winter retreat at Lake Champion in Glen Spey, New York.

Confirmation is a weekly class for teenagers who are interested in exploring their faith, preparing themselves to make a profession of faith, and learning more about being an active member of the church. Confirmation students will attend classes from late January to early May.
