BETHANY POCCESCHI
11:11 Word & Worship leader
Bethany Pocceschi is excited to serve as the Worship Leader for the 11:11 service at DUMC! Her family has been part of the church since 1959, representing three generations of involvement: her grandparents Raymond and Dorothy Mills, her parents Dino and Karen Borghi, and her aunt Barbara Mills.
Bethany has been active in many of DUMC’s musical groups over the years, including the children’s and youth choirs, youth and adult handbell choirs, Sounds of Faith, and Power of Grace. She began playing piano at age 7, studying under Diana Durbin through high school. Music is also an important part of her family’s life - her oldest son Joey plays drums at the 11:11 service, and her youngest son Ben sings in the children’s choir.
Outside of church, Bethany works full time at the Bucks County Drug & Alcohol Commission, Inc. and also at Embers Smokehouse and Tap. One of her favorite scriptures is Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
