Women’s Groups

We offer many different opportunities for women to get involved in the life of the church. Whether you want to find fellowship, service opportunities, grow in your faith or all of those–there is a place for you. If you don’t find what you are looking for, reach out to our church staff–we always have something new in the works!

Cross Points

Weekly women’s bible study, spiritual growth and fellowship.

Cross Points is a group for women of all ages and is open to any woman in the community.  We have several groups which meet weekly at Doylestown United Methodist Church, as well as virtually. All groups enjoy social time together, small group discussion, spiritual growth, Bible study (many of us are new to the Bible), and prayer support. All women are welcome!

NEW STUDY beginning October 25!

Believing in Jesus: A Journey Through the Book of Acts

Does your faith feel stale? Would you like to reinvigorate your relationship with Jesus?

The early believers didn’t have much of a road map to follow after Jesus ascended to Heaven. But the Holy Spirit catapulted them forward with so much power, grace and authority that they dramatically impacted the world. Those first believers were willing to risk everything to follow Christ. We are promised that same energy and devotion when we focus on Christ.

You are invited to join us for this 8 week DVD study by Lisa Harper, a theologian and comedic storyteller, beginning Sunday, October 25. We will meet from the comfort of your home via Zoom from 6:30-8pm.  This study will be led by Laurie Lewis, Minister of Visitation at DUMC. Please register at LewisRN@comcast.net or 215-340-6565.  Workbooks are $10 with Doylestown Porch pickup for the first 15 people who register.

You’ll need a laptop/iPad/desktop to view the video during class and participate in the discussions. Workbooks are also available from Amazon or Christianbook.com.
