What can I expect on Christmas Eve?

Christmas Eve Open House

If you plan to visit our Sanctuary on December 24, 2020, here is what you can expect:
  • Only 10 people will be permitted in the Sanctuary at a time, as per Gov. Wolf’s mandate regarding indoor gatherings. Please be patient, as there may be a socially distanced line.
  • All visitors will be required to wear a mask upon entry and there will be sanitizing stations readily available.
  • All pews and rooms will be sanitized continuously.
  • We hope you will find peace in the beauty of the Sanctuary, fully decorated for Christmas–including the poinsettia tree*– and filled with soft Christmas carols, previously performed and recorded by familiar voices and musicians.
  • Pastor Sunil Balasundaram, our Senior Pastor, along with Pastor Paul and Laurie Lewis, will be available in auxiliary spaces for prayer and consolation. Each will pray with one family/person/couple at a time.
  • We ask that you are mindful of your fellow Christians and the amount of time that you spend in the sanctuary, given the capacity restrictions.
We hope this opportunity to visit our Sanctuary will connect you with the hope, peace, love and joy that the birth of our Savior promises each of us.
*Poinsettias will be available to take home on the Tuesday following Christmas. Visit the Narthex from 9am-2pm. Donations for the poinsettias will be accepted, but are not required.
Merry Christmas!
