MISSION OF THE MONTH

APRIL Mission of the Month

Feed My Starving Children

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) believes hope starts with food. As a Christian nonprofit, FMSC is dedicated to seeing every child whole in body and spirit. FMSC works with food distribution partners that stay with communities for the long haul, empowering them to move from relief to development.

FMSC meals are developed by food science and nutrition professionals to supplement nutritional needs and reduce problems with malnutrition. Nutrition allows children to grow, thrive, and develop to their full potential. Each day, partners distribute FMSC meals in schools, orphanages, clinics, and feeding programs around the world to deliver hope and break the cycle of poverty.

The process is simple. Donations given by people just like you fund the meal ingredients. Volunteers like you hand-pack the meals.

Meals are donated to FMSC food partners around the world, where kids are fed, and lives are saved.

This year a Mobile Pack event is planned for the weekend of May 17-20, 2024, at Del Val University. The goal is to pack 1,000,000+ meals, feeding over 2750 kids a meal a day for a year. An anticipated need of 5000 volunteers across the community will be needed. The event needs to raise about $290,000 across the community to support the event.

Please consider donating to the April Mission of the Month – Feed My Starving Children

Please consider volunteering to pack meals with us in May. These meal packing events are a lot of fun. Our time slot to volunteer together is Sunday, May 19, from 2:30 – 4:30 pm.

With God’s help and your support, FMSC strives to eliminate starvation in children throughout the world. www.fmsc.org
